Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me!  I was born in Galax, VA but grew up in the upstate SC area and have resided here for the past 37 years.  My wife is from Newfoundland, Canada and we live in Simpsonville, SC with two very spoiled dogs.  In our spare time we love to cook, go to sporting events and travel.
I have been with Schmidt Mortgage Corporation for over nine years and have a total of over ten years experience in residential mortgage lending.  I am fortunate to be in a position where I have many repeat customers and get a substantial number of referrals from them.  I attribute this to taking great pride in what I do and back-bending service.  I believe that my customers appreciate the fact that I go beyond just quoting rates and closing costs and look at their overall financial picture to determine what mortgage is best for them based on their overall profile and objectives.  In today's lending environment, it is now more important than ever to make sure that you're educated about choices and how those choices affect you now and in the future.
